RENTAL TERMS

RESERVATIONS

Most reservations need to be made well in advance. A 50% payment is due at the time the reservation is placed. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the delivery or customer pick-up date will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations made within 7-13 days of the delivery or customer pick-up date will incur a 20% fee.

Cancellations made within 2-6 days of the delivery or customer pick-up date will incur a 50% fee.

Cancellations made the day of the delivery or customer pick-up date will incur an 80% fee.

PAYMENT

Payment by personal check is due 10 business days prior to your event. All other payments will be due at the time of delivery. We accept all major credit cards and cash.

CHARGES

The customer is charged for all rental items listed on the contract, whether or not they are used.

DELIVERY

We offer delivery and pickup services within North Fork, CA, and surrounding areas. Delivery fees may apply based on distance. Unless other arrangements have been made, the customer must be there to check in and sign the rental contract. We reserve the right to enter your yard to collect our property at the scheduled time of pick-up. Additional fees may be assessed for staircases or elevators or any area that is not easily accessible. Set-up and tear-down service is also available at an additional cost. Please schedule this service ahead of time so that we can allow for the time needed.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

Your rental items were carefully counted prior to your receiving them. It is your responsibility to recount them upon receiving them. Please inform us of any discrepancies immediately. Loss or damage will result in a replacement charge. Your rental items will be recounted when returned, and you will be notified of any shortages or damage.

CLEANING

Rental items are clean and ready for use when received. Additional charges may be assessed for items that will need extra sterilization.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We understand that event plans may change; however, due to inventory allocation and preparation, the following policy applies:

  • Changes to orders (including reductions in quantity, color changes, or cancellations) made within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable.

  • Any payments made toward items removed or canceled within this 14-day period will be forfeited.

  • Additions to orders are welcome but are subject to availability.

Final Counts

Final linen counts are due no later than 14 days prior to your event date. At that time, your order is considered confirmed and locked, and no refunds will be issued for reductions.

Condition of Items

Linens must be returned free of excessive debris and damage. Please shake out linens and ensure they are dry before returning. Additional fees will apply for items returned with:

  • Wax

  • Mildew

  • Burns

  • Ink or permanent stains

  • Rips or tears

Responsibility for Rental Items

Customers are responsible for all rented items from the time of pickup or delivery until items are returned and inspected by Function Junction Party Rentals.
